How can I shut an exterior window using only drywall from the inside?

Closing an exterior window solely with drywall from the inside is not feasible.

Drywall is a construction material used for walls and ceilings, but it lacks the structural integrity and functionality to operate a window.

Consider using window locks, latches, or coverings to secure the window from the inside.

If the window is no longer needed or desired, you can permanently seal it with drywall, insulation, or another suitable building material.

Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations when making modifications to windows or walls in your home.
